Hello and welcome back!
There is still time to join the final Inky Paws Challenge of the year! Upload your project by the end of the day Friday for a chance to win $20 to the Newton’s Nook Online Store! Use the colors below as your inspiration.

For my card today, I decided to step away from the winter cards and make something that could be used year-round. Here are the products I used:
Newton’s Nook Time For Coffee Stamps and Coordinating Dies
Distress Inks in Prize Ribbon, Broken China, and Chipped Sapphire
Copic Markers in B28, B26, B24, B21, C8, C6, C5, C3, C1, E44, E42, and E41
Perfect Pearls in Confetti White
I started by stamping and coloring some of the images from the stamp set using my Copic markers. After coloring, I cut the images out using the coordinating die set.
To create my background, I masked off a one inch strip at the bottom of a card front, then ink blended with the Distress Inks going from darkest colors at the bottom to the lightest colors at the top. To add some dimension, I splattered the perfect pearls and water across the inked area.
To assemble my card, I glued the colored images and stamped the sentiment “I can’t espresso how much you bean to me” in black ink.

I hope you join us in the Inky Paws Challenge for a chance to win $20 to the Newtons’s Nook Online Store!
Thanks for stopping by!
