Hello and welcome back!
Today, I am sharing a quick and easy holiday card that I made for the current Inky Paws Challenge. In case you missed it, this challenge is a super fun sketch challenge! All you have to do is create a card based off the sketch using Newton’s Nook products, link it up to the Inky Paws Blog, and that’s it! You will be entered for a chance to win a $20 gift card, and might just be picked as a favorite by myself or one of the other amazing Inky Paws team members.
To start my card, I cut a piece of white card stock down to 3.75in x 3.75in so I could use it in one of the Gina K wreath builder templates. On my first round of the wreath builder, I stamped the jumping reindeer images from the Reindeer Roll Call Stamp Set in Gina K Cherry Red Ink. Then, I continued to fill in the wreath with snowflakes from the Reindeer Roll Call Set and the Holiday Home Stamp Set using Gina K Kraft Ink.
When I was happy with the wreath, I stamped the sentiment “wishing you peace and joy this holiday season” from the Holiday Home Set and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.
To add the stripes that are shown in the sketch, I cut three strips of red card stock to 1in x 3.75in and adhered them to the back of my wreath panel. To finish it off, I adhered the panel to a kraft card base.
See, I told you it was quick and easy!
I hope you join us in the Inky Paws Challenge! Thanks for stopping by!
